The annual international UBI Summer Schools provide young researchers with an opportunity to gain hands on experience and insight on selected topics on the multidisciplinary fields of ubiquitous computing and urban informatics under the tutelage of distinguished experts.

Application & Enrollment

All prospective students had to submit the online application that was forwarded to the instructors for approval.

While the UBI Summer Schools are primarily targeted for postgraduate students (doctoral candidates), postdoctoral researchers, undergraduate students, and industry and public sector professionals were also welcome to apply.

Students were enrolled to the workshops in two stages:

CLOSED [Stage 1. Open international call with application deadline on March 24, 2014.]

CLOSED [ Stage 2. Any vacant seats remaining after stage 1 will be handed on first come first served basis to applications received by May 26, 2014.]
