1st Open Ubiquitous Oulu Seminar 2.6.2009 at Cultural House Valve
The 1st Open Ubiquitous Oulu Seminar" was held at Culture House Valve on June 2nd. The international keynote speakers of the seminar were Japan's leading expert in ubiquitous information processing Professor Hideyuki Tokuda from Keio University and the Head of the Department of Architecture in Newcastle University, UK, Dr. Alessandro Aurigi. Aurigi specializes in utilizing ICT technology in urban planning. In addition, Professor Timo Ojala and Dr. Aulikki Herneoja discussed the case of Oulu as a ubiquitous city.
