BlueInfo

BlueInfo service provides an opportunity to browse context-aware web services when the user is near a panOULU BT access point. The service can be used free of charge and the service does not require any customer software to be installed.

BlueInfo retrieves the information from the desired web service from a web server in public Internet and, if necessary, adapts the content to suit the user’s mobile device.

The services currently provided include news, bus schedules, weather forecasts, a tv-guide, a movie guide and an event calendar.
